Funding of Milton Keynes Children’s Contact Centre
The operation of the contact centre is funded entirely out of fees charged, donations, and sponsorship.
Any commercial organisation or business who wishes to contribute sponsorship has the opportunity, if they so choose, of being listed on this web site, and in turn being linked to their own web site for a period of twelve months. For details of sponsorship please contact the treasurer using the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org.
Local Solicitors have donated to our charity in aid of Resolution’s Dispute Resolution week which was on 24 - 28th November 2014 in the following ways:
- On 24th to 28th November local family law solicitors offered a 30 minute meeting giving advice about the options available to those who are separating. The cost was £50 plus VAT which was donated to Milton Keynes Contact Centre, Ride High MK and Relate Milton Keynes.
All the local lawyers involved are members of Resolution, a group of family lawyers committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. All 6,500 members nationally follow a code of practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems and solutions that consider the needs of the whole family particularly children.
In the meeting our lawyers gave information on the different processes that can be followed to reach agreement about the financial aspects of your separation or divorce and arrangements for your children. These include Collaborative Law, mediation, or the more traditional routes of negotiating through solicitors.
If you would like to know more about your options and to donate to charity at the same time then contact any of the lawyers listed on the following sites: www.mkcollaborativelawgroup.co.uk or www.familylawhub.com to make your appointment
- To support Resolution DR week (24-28th November) Purcell Solicitors, Milton Keynes donated their normal charges from new client appointments in that week to the Milton Keynes Contact Centre. The initial meetings provided advice on particular family law circumstances with, as always, an emphasis on how dispute resolution processes could work for you.
